Overview

Personal advice, fast delivery from regional hubs and CO2-certified production. None of it was visible in a product list.

The challenge

Buyers in the infra sector compare suppliers on price and specs. TEBI Infra has supplied streets, squares and parks for more than 45 years and reuses salvaged paving, so the site had to make those strengths visible and turn interest into contact.

Partner

Show people and expertise, not a faceless wholesaler

Sustainability

Make it concrete and credible instead of a slogan

Range

Organise 11 product groups so professionals find items fast

Leads

Samples, the product book, appointments and Infrapark visits

Two speeds

Serve quick buyers and people researching a project

Goals

How the site answers each goal

Select a goal to see how the design delivers it.

Goal 1 of 5

Position TEBI as a partner

Real team photography, the "Jouw partner voor de openbare ruimte" story block, and 45+ years and 250+ clients as proof.

Design approach

Solid, calm and easy to act on

A calm, industrial slate palette with one warm orange accent.

Primary colour

Slate blue-grey

Used for the USP band, nav bar and footer. Echoes concrete, stone and asphalt.

Accent colour

Orange

For buttons, links and top bar icons. Matches the logo and recalls site safety colours.

Backgrounds

White and very light grey

Gives content room and separates sections without heavy lines.

Headlines

Bold, rounded geometric sans-serif

Friendly and confident, softening the industrial subject.

Accent type

Handwritten script

"Duurzaamheid waarmee je over straat kunt!" adds a human voice.

Body text

Clean sans-serif

Comfortable line height for long technical content.

Photography

Real people, real scale

Aerial yard shots, meetings, trucks and stacked reclaimed paving.

Layout

Bands and blocks

Full-width image bands alternate with contained blocks: emotion, information, action.

UX decisions

Built for busy professionals

Trust before product

USPs, years, clients and real faces come before the catalogue, because infra buying is relationship-driven.

One consistent action colour

Every primary CTA is orange, so "Afspraak maken" is recognisable wherever it appears.

Repeated, low-pressure CTAs

Read the story, order the book, request a sample or make an appointment.

Search first

The search bar sits in the header centre for professionals who know the product name.

Split navigation

Product and knowledge links are separated from corporate links to keep the main menu short.

Sustainability as content, not a badge

Hub locations, CO2 certification and reused paving each get their own story page.

Scannable rhythm

Alternating full-bleed photos and short text blocks keep a long homepage easy to skim.

Rich footer

A sitemap-style footer acts as a second navigation.

Results and impact

A people-first presence that matches how TEBI works

Real metrics are not public, so these results are qualitative.

Brand

A clear story that sets TEBI apart from price-driven competitors

Discovery

Faster product discovery through search, mega menu and a structured assortment

Leads

More entry points: appointments, samples, book, newsletter and Infrapark

Sustainability

Claims backed by dedicated, linkable content

Open question: add lead volume, sample requests or time on site if the client can share them. The knowledge centre, StraatZaken and projects already form a content platform for long-term SEO.
